New Small Animal Hotel
Posh Paws is proud to present their new small animal boarding area. A large fully insulated and heated barn with various sizes of accommodation. For the summer it is fully air conditioned with lots of natural light! All staff on site are fully trained in animal care and will love to give your little ones the holiday of their lifetime.
For Rabbits & Guinea Pigs Hay & Veggies & bedding will be included. Please supply your own dry food.
PRICINGS ARE PER HUTCH SIZE AS REQUIRED
RABBITS:
1 X Single: = £8 Per Day
2 X Bonded: = £9 Per Day
3 X Bonded: = £10 Per Day
GUINEA PIGS:
1 X Single: = £6.50 Per Day
2 X Bonded = £7.50 Per Day
3 X Bonded = £8.50 Per Day
This incorporates the cost for the bonded pairs and triples to be placed in larger hutches for comfort.
Animals such as Hamsters, Mice, and Gerbils will be charged at the rate of £4 Per Day per cage.
Dumbledores office, The Sorting Hat & Potions Class Hutches
These hutches are 6ft x 2ft x 2ft. With lots of space and a secure indoor area.
Ideal for 2 bonded rabbits or 4 bonded Guinea pigs.
Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Slytherin
These hutches are 4ft x 2ft x 2ft. With a secure indoor area.
Ideal for 1 rabbit or a pair of bonded guinea pigs.
Hagrids Hut
This Hutch has a long 5.5ft x 1.5ft x 2ft run with a second floor indoor area 2.5ft x 1.5ft x 2ft.
Ideal for a pair of bonded rabbits or a small group of Guinea pigs.
Forbidden Forest
This Hutch has a long 8ft x 2ft x 2ft run with 2 separate indoor areas for sleeping.
Idea for large groups of bonded rabbits.
Leaky cauldron, Knight Bus, Diagon Alley, Bertie's Bots,
Platform 9 3/4 & Ollivanders
These hutches have two floors each being 3.5ft x 1.5ft x 2ft including indoor area with ramp connecting both floors.
Ideal for 2 bonded Rabbits or 2/3 Guinea pigs.
Dobby's house
This Hutch is all on one level 4ft x 2ft x 2ft. Including inside area.
Ideal for 1 Rabbit or pair of Guinea pigs.
Guinea Pig Home 100
Ideal for short stays for a pair of guinea pigs.
Other Small Animals... Mice/Hamster etc
Please supply own cages for smaller rodents with your own bedding & food.

Unfortunately we cannot take Ferrets or Birds at this time.

Q. Am i able to take a tour?
A. Viewings are possible but strictly by appointment only. Please see our virtual tour page for an insight into our facilities!
Q. When can we drop off & collect?
A. Drop off and collections are at specific timings: Please ensure all animals are delivered and collected in suiatable carrier!

- An "Out of Hours" service is available upon request at the time of booking
- Out of hours drop off & collections (08:00 - 17.30 weekdays) (08:00 - 16:00 weekends) will incur extra £15 charge
Q. Are Vaccinations required?
- ALL rabbits booked in for boarding must have proof of vaccination, certificates showing dates of current and previous Nobivac, and/or Filavac/Eravac vaccines. Boosters must be given every 12 months for Nobivac Myxo RHD PLUS or Nobivac Myxo RHD, Filavac and Eravac.
- As most vets are now vaccinating with Nobivac Myxo RHD PLUS please allow 21 DAYS between the vaccine and the start of boarding for immunity to build up.
- It is also advised that all pets are wormed, flea and mite treated 14 days before arrival.
Q. Does my animal need to be spayed or neutered?
A. It is reccomended to have carried out spaying / neutering of rabbits as it helps calm hormonal behaviours such as spraying walls, and floors, as well as mounting and aggression.
Q. Are we allowed to bring our own food?
A. All small animals must have their own food supplied by the owner so as not change them from their regular diet. Hay and Vegetables are provided.
Q. Can i do an overnight stay?
A. An overnight stay is possible but we have a strict 3 day minimum fee policy.
Q. Can we bring toys and blankets?
A. Yes, feel free to bring these along. The items will be logged in & out along with your pet.
Q. Are the animals mixed with other animals at any time?
A. No! Animals are not mixed with animals from other customers. Only animals allowed to share are bonded animals form the SAME customer!
Q. What happens if my animal becomes ill, or passes away?
- Sadly, small animals can pass away with very little warning, and it can happen rapidly after the first sign of illness. In the unlikely event that your pet passes away whilst in our care we will contact you immediately and follow your wishes.
- The owner must confirm that to the best of their knowledge they have declared all known health issues to Posh Paws; however should their pet become ill whilst in our care, they authorise Posh Paws to transport the animal to a vet and approve any required emergency treatment.
- The owner agrees to reimburse Posh Paws for any additional costs incurred when they collect their pet. Please note our insurance policy does not cover us for pre-existing conditions.
- Planned surgery for neutering, dentals etc must be carried out a minimum of 14 days prior to boarding and the pet given a health check from the vet to ensure there are no post operative complications.
- Posh Paws reserves the right to refuse animals should they appear to be in poor health on arrival e.g. runny eyes, nose, or dirty bottoms as we do not want to risk any other animal’s health by accepting a sick animal into boarding.
- Your pets will have exclusive use of a hutch for their entire stay so Posh Paws takes no responsibility for any pet pregnancy. All our animals are kept separate unless otherwise stated by you that they are bonded.
Q. Can staff give medication?
A. Staff can administer medication. Upon booking in, any and all medication must be provided by yourself, along with specific instructions pertaining to dosages and timings of medication, this will be written down and confirmed by yourself before leaving your pet with us.
Q. Do staff have training?
A. Senior staff have level 3 in Animal Care, Other staff have aminimum of Level 2 in animal Care.
Q. Do you give updates during the stay?
A. We can give updates in the form of messages, photos, or video via WhattsApp directly to yourself or a contact designated by yourself.
Q. Is there staff on site 24/7?
A. YES, the business owner lives on site, or designated persons are on site should the owner be away.
Q. I made a booking but my dates have changed; Can i shorten, extend, or re-book?
A. For cancellations & Amendments made within less than 14 days’ notice before the arrival date, the owner agrees to pay Posh Paws for the original booking period in full. See Terms & Conditions
- Upon receiving a confirmation of your booking, we will require a minimum 50% non refundable deposit to be paid to reserve your space.
- Cancellation of your booking before the 14 days period will result in the loss of any deposit you have paid. Bookings requested with no deposit paid will be cancelled after 72 hours unless otherwise agreed by Posh Paws.
