Q. Am i able to take a tour?
A. Viewings are possible but strictly by appointment only
Q. When can we drop off & collect?
A. Drop of and collections are at specific timings:
Mon - Fri: 09:30 - 11:00
15:30 - 17:00
Sat - Sun: 09:30 - 11:00
- An "Out of Hours" service is available upon request at the time of booking
- Out of hours drop off & collections (08:00 - 17.30 weekdays) (08:00 - 16:00 weekends) will incur extra £15 charge
Q. Are vaccinations required?
A. All vaccinations must be valid at least 14 days prior to the boarding beginning and cover the whole of the term.
- Cats are to be vaccinated against feline enteritis & cat flu.
- Dogs are to be vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus & Kennel cough.
Q. What is the difference between standard and deluxe?
A. All of our Deluxe Bedrooms are relaxing & spacious, fully heated with double glazed windows. Each room has its own cast iron bed. There is also a chair for your four legged friend to lounge on whilst watching their favourite TV show or listening to the radio.
- Our Standard Bedrooms are more cozy in size but are equally as nice. Fully heated with a double raised bed, Music plays throughout the day and all bedrooms have fully covered outside areas to relax in.
Q. Do we mix dogs on site?
A. Dogs are not mixed onsite, unlkess they are from the same household / owner strictly with their permission.
Q. How often are the dogs walked?
A. All dogs are walked for 20 minutes, twice a day
Q. Are we allowed to bring our own food?
A. It is preferred that their own food is provided. posh paws can supply food if required.
Q. Can i do an overnight stay?
A. An overnight stay is possible but we have a strict 2 day minimum fee policy.
Q. Can we bring toys and blankets?
A. Yes, feel free to bring these along. The items will be logged in & out along with your pet.
Q. Can staff give medication?
A. Staff can administer medication. Upon booking in, any and all medication must be provided by yourself, along with specific instructions pertaining to dosages and timings of medication, this will be written down and confirmed by yourself before leaving your pet with us.
Q. Do staff have training?
A. Senior staff have level 3 in Animal Care, Other staff have aminimum of Level 2 in animal Care.
Q. Do you offer other services?
A. We can offer full grooming services, or something extra like bathing if requested. (See Grooming Room Prices tab)
Q. Do you give updates during the stay?
A. We can give updates in the form of messages, photos, or video via WhattsApp directly to yourself or a contact designated by yourself.
Q. Is there staff on site 24/7?
A. YES, the business owner lives on site, or designated persons are on site should the owner be away.
Q. Does my cat need to be treated for fleas, ticks, & worms
A. Yes, all cats should be fully treated for fleas, ticks, & worms.
Q. I made a booking but my dates have changed; Can i shorten, extend, or re-book?
A. For cancellations & Amendments made within less than 14 days’ notice before the arrival date, the owner agrees to pay Posh Paws for the original booking period in full. See Terms & Conditions
- Upon receiving a confirmation of your booking, we will require a minimum 50% non refundable deposit to be paid to reserve your space.
- Cancellation of your booking before the 14 days period will result in the loss of any deposit you have paid. Bookings requested with no deposit paid will be cancelled after 72 hours unless otherwise agreed by Posh Paws.
Q. I made a booking but have to cancel?

Q. Can you take pets with special needs or behavioural issues?
A. Pets with special needs or behavioural issues may be taken after assessment by Posh Paws. All pets are housed separately and walked separately, and will be treated as per owners instructions to ensure the best care is taken with them.
- As long as pets are not a danger in any form to staff then they may be placed with us.
